Online experimentation facilities are developed based on the use of mixed-reality (MR) principle, where the experiment’s output data are initially obtained through real operation of the experiment, then stored on the cloud to be used during the online session
The main benefit of this technique, compared to other online types, is that online (remote) student will get real measurement data typically as if the experiment is performed in normal conditions.
Furthermore, videos showing the real operation of the experiment as well as images of the actual used setup have also been integrated within the online platform to enhance students’ learning experience and engagement.
Different mixed reality (MR) online aerodynamic experiments as well as control system design and electromagnetics serving undergraduate students have been designed and developed.
